In response to a fan who asserted that Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr. Eazi, is a Nigerian singer and businessman, he threatened to sue him for slander.
Temi Otedola, Mr. Eazi’s fiancée, caused a sensation when she revealed her “husband’s” record shortly after the release of his most recent album, “Evil Genius.”
Many were taken aback when the word “husband” was used, wondering when the couple had actually tied the knot after being engaged.
On Sunday, however, X user @ZobaDeGreat complimented Mr. Eazi on his most recent album and mentioned that, despite being worth approximately $5 million, he married billionaire Femi Otedola’s daughter, Temi Otedola, in a low-key ceremony.
The fan also took aim at people who, even though they don’t have the wealth to have opulent weddings, nevertheless desire them.
In their message, the fan stated that Mr. Eazi is estimated to be worth $5 million. The daughter of Otedola was surreptitiously wedded to him. We’re not even sure. The reason we know is because of his just released song and the way his wife announced it.
You don’t have the money to pay departmental dues, so you want to throw a small in-town wedding for your wife, a second-year student, even though you don’t have up to $2 million at home or overseas.
Me Eazi stressed in a tweet that he is worth far more than $5 million, calling the fan’s remark “erroneously disrespectful.” He threatened legal action for defamation unless the fan corrected his facts.

The musician recently sold Vydia, a business that was a part of his venture capital fund, Zagadat Capital, for $1 billion, so while Mr. Eazi’s exact net worth is unknown, it is most definitely not $5 million.
